The Chilton Club in Sudbury, run by Suffolk Age UK, gives people with memory problems the chance to meet others, make new friends, enjoy a freshly cooked meal and participate in stimulating leisure activities. Members can do as much or as little as they wish, with a personalised approach to everyone, ensuring that members get a valuable and enjoyable experience. One member said “Finding Chilton has made such a difference to my week. I look forward to the good food, lovely people; it’s a place where you can truly be yourself”.
Suffolk Age UK is a local, independent charity working with and for the benefit of older people in Suffolk. They provide a choice of services across Suffolk to improve quality of life, enable independent living and help maintain health, by combating loneliness, social exclusion, poverty and depression in later life.
