An hour (or more if you need) support if you need, via email, phone, own person meeting or video call if you get stuck on how to do anything, want a chat about a feature. Or need help getting your email to work on your phone, we’re here to help.
Some hosting providers just maintain the server and security overall, rather than checking each website manually. Yes it’s time consuming but we love it! Each site gets a security update, and a check to see all is running as it should be at least once a month, if not more often if there’s been a security alert.
It does happen, when technically gets sufficiently complex, things can go wrong. In the case of Wordpress, that can be a plug-in incompatibility with another plugin, or a WordPress update itself, or plugins can become insecure and need changing. That’s what we do, keep all that safe and up to date.
If you have a Wordpress website, we can download, test on our server to make sure it works. We copy emails over from your existing provider (unless you’re with Microsoft 365, or gmail). Once we have a plan to migrate the site, and email we begins and you’re website and email will be taken care of on our hosting for as long as you’d like us to.
We can’t keep spam out completely, unfortunately. However, we can reduce it, you shouldn’t be getting lots each day, perhaps one a week at the absolute most! We can see how much spam is coming from your contact form on your website and with our monthly checks and act to reduce it if it’s a problem.
Daily backups are run on our server and stored for up to a month, these don’t slow the website down as these are kept in a separate place to the website.
We don’t rely on a backup plugin for backups, they can slow your website down, and if you can’t get into the website they’re then absolutely useless!
We take monthly local backups when running updates, that are stored in several encrypted locations.
Technical SEO is where all the technical stuff is taken care of so you don’t have to. This includes:
A Free SSL certificate, you need of these to prevent security warnings in browsers and not having an SSL certificate means your website can be blocked in Google and Bing, An ssl certificate means any information between a website user and the website, for example with a contact form is encrypted. This is required for GDPR and is an important part of SEO.
All of our websites have Google analytics and Google search console set up, we give you full admin access to these. So you can track your website’s performance. Google search console with a sitemap.xml submitted means most of your website’s pages should be indexed, however if you have hundreds of pages, this can be limited due to Google’s crawl budget
Bing, Microsoft’s search engine which is set up by default. Bing also powers some apps and services, so it’s worth having your website registered on Bing, and like Google Search Console we register the sitemap.xml with Bing ensuring your website has the best chance it can to get found in the main search engines.
For a set amount a month, the price depends on the complexity of your website, we perform all of the above, no extra fees. So if you contact us for help with an issue, there isn’t going to be an invoice for that, it’s included. We’re to support you and your organisation!
Get in touch with us to discuss transferring your WordPress website.
