Our Christian Values, that interleave so much with British Values, underpin life at our school. We take every opportunity to embrace these values of, justice, forgiveness, trust, compassion, responsibility and hope. Our Curriculum is written to broaden the children’s horizons and a love of learning. We make the most of our rural setting but equally we aim to reflect the diversity of the modern world in which we live with visits further afield and through visitors from different cultures and religions.
All our children, as they move through the school, have the opportunity to learn the ukulele, guitar and djembe drums with our peripatetic musicians. Forest School is an increasing area of our curriculum where children learn though hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
We offer a selection of before and after school clubs including small group and 1:1 intervention for maths and phonics. Our Early Bird and T Bird clubs provide wrap around care for working parents from 7.30am to 5.30pm and are run by members of the school staff.
You are more than welcome to come and visit and look around our welcoming village school. I look forward to meeting you.
