My husband and I visited here for an evening meal.
We were greeted nicely and seated.Firstly we ordered a bottle of red wine, a Malbec. which was brought over to us in a bucket of ice!!
Surely they should know red wine is not served on ice. Next we ordered our food. The starters were fine and tasted nice but the mackerel pate was served in a kilner jar. Very strange, and awkward to get the pate out of.
Next our mains. My husband enjoyed his meal of chicken supreme but I ordered crab risotto which really had no flavour and very little crab. It was really bland. It was edible but got very boring. At £19 I expected better. Service up to this point had been fine.
We ordered dessert. My husband ordered a brownie which he couldn’t eat as it was so dried out and as hard as a rock. I ordered cheese which was really very minimalistic.
A small price if Brie and smoked apple down.Chutney was nice but for £8.50 was nothing to shout about.
We sat for ages with staff walking past and ignoring our plates which we had put to the side of the table.My husband had to go up to the bar to order coffee because he got fed up waiting. We would have gone home sooner but we were being picked up so had a coffee while waiting.
The coffees came and she cleared our table of our dessert dishes. We told her about the brownie and she kindly said she would take it off the bill. Over all we felt the food was not worth the money. Our bill was £95 and the food and service were really not great. They only had 3 tables of people eating so we really would have expected better.
We will not be returning here. It’s a shame because before it changed hands it was a nice pub with a lovely atmosphere and great food. :(

Bradie's help was invaluable in helping me to get back into running, and through my gluteal tendinopathy gradual recovery. I would highly recommend him, and will be back myself if any future injuries occur. Great experience, knowledgeable therapist who gave me effective treatment. Would highly recommend, as both practitioners were kind, courteous, make you feel comfortable and relaxed and dealt with all my inquiries in a professional manner. Great advice, and lots of helpful exercises
