We had a fab time at Mandy’s for my 10 year old daughter’s birthday. Four very happy girls made a necklace, a bracelet and even clip earrings. Mandy was so helpful and patient and had so much jewellery making knowledge, that we all learned so much. The items they made look professional and definitely not ‘diy’. As a bonus, I also managed to pick up quite a few Christmas presents as Mandy had so many pretty and unusual items. As an extra, the girls also received party bags when we left. Thoroughly recommend a visit to Mandy’s either to buy off the shelf or make your own as a nice activity - only £20 buys a visit to make your own bracelet and necklace - I bought a couple of vouchers as gifts, it will make such a nice change from either clothes that don’t fit, or bath sets that don’t get used. We will certainly be visiting Mandy’s again! To be honest, I’d not visited before (I didn’t even know she was there), but the shop is just down the stretch from the Waitrose car park, so now I will always walk that way into town for a little look.

I injured myself running the Manchester marathon this year and knew I needed to get myself seen to by a physio pretty fast to get myself back out treading the tarmac as soon as possible.<br><br>I had never so much as set foot in a physio’s studio prior to this so I went out for recommendations and Danny and Physio Motive came highly recommended.<br><br>I’m about a month into rehabilitation but I can honestly say it’s been nothing short of fantastic. He’s extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, pragmatic in his approach and I actually really look forward to my sessions.<br><br>Most importantly, I’m seeing progress every session, working through the carefully structured exercises I’m assigned.<br><br>If you’re in need of a physio, get in touch with Danny, I couldn’t recommend him enough.

This is a lovely country pub serving really nice quality food. The ambiance is very enjoyable and there is plenty of room between tables. High quality ingredients are used and the flavours are wonderful. I would recommend this for an event booking or a quiet meal for two. The staff are really friendly and Hartest is a very pretty village.
