Had a pleasant Sunday lunch at the Crown with a few caveats.
- The beef is rare and it tells you so and I am good with that. However if you cut it as thick as they do, then it either needs to be top quality or they provide a sharper knife, it was neither. Next time I will have the pork! - Unless they slice it thinly!
- Covid has probably put pay to any maintenance on and in the building so it does look a little more tired than the website images would suggest. Did not really detract from the experience.
- Staff were top drawer. Friendly and happy and super attentive. First class.
- Cheap as chips. Worth the drive out from Cambridge.

Neil luxstone is total professional and a really nice helpful man as are his staff. I would recommend them to anybody. They helped me with a lot of complicated things with the church council as I wanted a horseshoe and fishes on the headstone to commemorate my wife's lifestyle. It took ages due to covid but the church liked it. Neil's hand carving is first class and I say again I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Luxstone.

Just had a lovely lunch at the Fox at Bulmer Tye, only opened yesterday under new ownership, new decor, very friendly and approachable staff, excellent food, choice and quality. Have booked again to try their Sunday lunch and am looking forward to going back. WELL DONE!

The Fox at Bulmer Tye only re-opened yesterday under completely new management and what a change! The interior has been refitted and there appeared to be many more tables. Despite it being very busy for a lunchtime, the staff were friendly, attentive and very efficient. We choose from the lunch set menu and the food was excellent. Give it a try and don't pay any attention to reviews written before Sept 2019!

We have just got home from a meal at the newly refurbished Bulmer Fox. The food was just fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I would highly recommend you pay this place a visit, you will not be disappointed.
