We've tried the evening meals here now many times, but last week may have been the best dinner we've had there. Great value, really friendly staff and the meal, as always was excellent
Thanks again

A wonderful place to retreat to after shopping in Sudbury. Diverse menu and wines or just if you want a cup of coffee and a cake. Best on a sunny day when you can enjoy the small and scented garden.

Pleasant atmosphere for lunch on a dull & damp day in September. Good veggie choice & the sweet potato, carrot & ginger soup was delicious as was the vegetable foccaca enjoyed by my daughter. Friendly service & would certain visit again when in area.

There is a nice atmosphere in The Secret Garden and the food is all made on the premises so it is fresh and tasty.
I usually go for tea/coffee and scones which are nice but not the biggest I have come across. The home-made jam is excellent. Tea is served in a pot, but coffee in cups that are a bit small. If weather permits, it is pleasant to sit in the garden. The service is quite efficient but a bit impersonal. No friendly greeting or farewell. Overall a fairly good experience.

Popped in here for breakfast and booked a table in advance, good job we did as it was very busy.

The service was great and we all enjoyed the food we ordered.

Very good value for money.

What a delight, the staff are well trained, the food is very well prepared and presented and the wine list is fabulous.
Within the relatively small menu it lists a wine to go with that particular course - it really works. The atmosphere within the establishment is genuinely lovely and the head of front of house (Stephane) moves around seamlessly giving advice to the customers.
Enjoyed it so much I shall be returning later this month with family and in March will be attending with 30 friends.

We went here several times in the summer. They were always very welcoming and the food delicious. The best part was the raspberry pie desert - scrummy!

We took our mothers here as a pre Christmas treat, as always the experience was first class. The restaurant is small but not over crowded, the atmosphere is always buzzing and friendly.
The food is faultless, always cooked to perfection. The menus are seasonal and the dishes are all home made. They have a good range of food with some really interesting dishes. Meals and wine are priced well. Definitely a place to try, we recommend it to everyone!

We have been coming here for many years and have always found it excellent for morning coffee, lunch or dinner.
To-day we had lunch here and I chose Fish risotto with endive, and watercress coulis. My wife had a filo pastry parcel filled with goats cheese on a bed of lightly cooked onions, shredded carrots and purple potatoes. Both were excellent then we indulged ourselves with rhubarb and pomegranate crumble with clotted cream. Perfect bliss!
