If you thought that travel agents were a thing of the past in the age of the internet then think again! Charlotte Mitchell at Travel Counsellor is worth her weight in gold. She arranged all the travel for my 15 year old daughter to Milan, which in this Covid age and for an unaccompanied minor was more than a little complicated. Charlotte went above and beyond providing me with a comprehensive list of what forms and tests we needed. She even texted me on a Sunday evening to remind me to upload the Covid test form onto the BA website. The journey went off without a hitch. Charlotte removed all the anxiety for me. I will be recommending her to all my friends and colleagues. Thank you Charlotte!

Charlie had previously booked our hassle-free trip to Norway. This time around I had to visit my unwell father in South Africa at short notice and did not hesitate to book everything via Charlie. Given the tremendous restrictions and risks of travelling during the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly to a 'red list' country, Charlie ensured that every form and process for each leg of the journey was researched and outlined prior to the flights and car rental. Without the exceptional attention to detail and the caring approach, I would have been none the wiser about the specific health declaration forms of each country en route and would certainly have been caught by mandatory quarantines or significant fines. Charlie personally checked in with me at each leg of my journey to ensure everything was going to plan. This was service that went above and beyond, allowing me to relax and focus on having quality time with my father. Given the tremendous knock to the travel industry I have utmost respect for how Charlie was able to finalise my travel arrangements whilst governments were changing travel rules on an almost daily basis. I have no hesitation in recommending Charlie at Travel Counsellors to anyone considering a trip abroad. (Side note: the 'myTC' app was tremendously helpful for keeping track of my travel details such as flights, car hire etc.)

Charlotte was absolutely amazing in helping me book a Mediterranean cruise last year. My friends and I had specific travel needs which were fully accommodated for, and Charlotte was very diligent in organising everything for us all. If only I was back on my holidays now!
