A business mastermind network have put their heads together to support YMCA Sutton Coldfield.

Members of the Meta4 Mastermind Network – led by business coach and former Sutton Coldfield Chamber vice-president Clare Whalley – are giving a much-needed refresh and upgrade to the charity’s residents lounge.

YMCA Sutton Coldfield offers a safe place to stay for 18 to 30-year-olds who are sofa surfing or trying to escape a conflict at home.

Clare and the team are calling for support as the look to give the lounge a refresh on Wednesday 25 January.

Clare said: “We have a handful of people-power volunteers so far, but we need more help with sourcing materials to help create a true transformation that we know will create a space that feels more like home.”

Business people who can spare time, money, resources or creative ideas are encouraged to contact Clare.

Rachel Dutta Choudhury, fundraising manager at YMCA Sutton Coldfield, said: ”Thanks to Clare and everyone else who gets involved as this will make such a huge difference to the young people we work with, to have a space that feels homely and comfortable makes an incredible difference.”
