An event looking at the current challenges facing business and areas for increased resilience was hosted by Sutton Coldfield Chamber members Bishop Vesey Grammar School and business management consultants Inspired Partners.
‘Change is Inevitable: Growth is Optional’ was an interactive session which encouraged individuals to think about the current business climate and how they need to respond to become resilient in these uncertain times.
The two areas that were identified as having the potential to make the biggest difference were being ‘clear on direction’ and having a positive ‘approach to change’.
Following the event, Inspired Partners are offering 20 per cent off their Leadership Development programme starting in May 2020 to all Chamber members and/or members of the Bishop Vesey Corporate Partnership
Brian Davies, Bishop Vesey Grammar School development director, who hosted the event, said: “It was fantastic for the Corporate Partnership programme of Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School to host an educational event in collaboration with Inspired Partners and the Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce.”
Guest speaker and Inspired Partners managing director Sally Palethorpe (pictured) gave an insightful presentation for businesses on how to apply to their individual needs as the country comes out of lockdown.
She said: “In light of the ever-changing picture for businesses, especially as we begin to move towards the end of lockdown the opportunity to discuss with business owners how they plan to continue to react to challenges is really important.
“It was great to share my experience with others and if this one hour session helps one other business or individual be more successful then it was a worthwhile session.”
