The Sutton Coldfield Community Games returns next weekend for its 10th anniversary.
Organised and delivered by Inspire Activity, the event at Wyndley Leisure centre will bring together children and families from the community to try more than 50 activities from local clubs and providers.
The Community Games aims to bring families together with nearby sports clubs in a safe, fun and friendly environment.
The aim is to make positive connections that promote activity within the younger generation.
Dennis Kennedy, founder of the Community Games, said: ‘We are so excited to be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Sutton Coldfield Community Games.
“The Community Games has gone from strength to strength over these past 10 years and I couldn’t be prouder of how it has grown.
“We have seen first-hand in Birmingham over the past two weeks how important and inspiring sport can be.
“We just can’t wait to see this excitement continue at the Sutton Coldfield Community Games next weekend.”
The Sutton Coldfield Community Games will take place at Wyndley Leisure Centre on 13 and 14 August and will see children experiencing sports such as canoeing, dance, rugby, cricket, football, netball and athletics.
