Employers and further education providers were invited to a careers fair at The Coleshill School to meet with students in all year groups.

This was the first careers fair to be held at The Coleshill School since 2019 - and many employers and training organisations were in attendance.

Experts in industry and education gave students an insight into the workplace, giving first-hand advice and information about jobs and apprenticeships, college and university guidance, as well as training opportunities.

A variety of companies and training organisations attended the event including Bmet, UCB, Warwick University, Loughborough University, Royal Navy/Royal Marines,  University of Birmingham, Solihuill College, Coventry University, U-Educate, Careers Hub at the NHS, Ultimate Recruitment.

Mrs Eileen Bishop, careers lead, said: “This has been a fantastic opportunity for all of our students to meet with employers and training organisations.

“They gave our students the opportunity to engage in a meaningful conversation, ask questions and be inquisitive about their career choices and aspirations for their future.

“Our whole school is very grateful to the companies and organisations for giving their time to support our students.”

The Coleshill School is part of the Sutton Coldfield-headquartered Arthur Terry Learning Partnership.
