An entertainment firm is offering a new doorstep, socially distanced, performance service.
In line with social distancing guidelines, Quinn Artistes Entertainment’s new service, Doorstep Entertainers, offers professional singing telegrams, musicians and even balloon modellers to visit and perform in private gardens and driveways.
The firm, based in Sutton Coldfield, devised the new service to bring some cheer to those celebrating special events in lockdown.
Performers can be booked for birthdays, anniversaries or as a surprise event.
Quinn Artistes Entertainment Ltd, owned by Tracey Quinn, is running the service alongside The Event Chemist, founded by Karen Williams.
Tracey said: “Karen and I have been firm friends for over 15 years since we met onboard a cruise ship where we both performed as singers. Karen now owns and runs an event company and I own and run Quinn Artistes entertainment agency.
“After we both performed for our neighbours (at our individual homes) and on the lawn for VE day with a wonderful and unexpected rapturous response. Karen had the idea that we could still do what we love to do by supplying all kinds of entertainment to the people who need cheering up or made to feel special on their birthday or wedding anniversary especially under the current difficult circumstances and that is how Doorstep Entertainers was born.”
