Tomorrow (Saturday) is the final chance to register in-person for this year’s Royal Sutton Fun Run.
The event, now in its 42nd year, takes place on Sunday 1 June.
Registration will be open from 10am until 2pm in Bishops Court, opposite the Post Office, in Gracechurch Shopping Centre.
Runners can continue to register online.
Anyone who registers in Sutton Coldfield tomorrow will also be entered into a free draw to win one of three pairs of cinema tickets for the refurbished Royal Cinema located at Maney corner.
Main Fun Run sponsor Cookes Furniture will also be on hand with balloons and sweets.
Alongside Fun Run registration, fellow Royal Sutton Chamber of Commerce member and Fun Run supporting sponsor RotoSpa, the hot tub manufacturer based in Boldmere, will have a range of spas on display.
There’ll be an opportunity to enter a free draw, with the winner enjoying a week-long spa hire free of charge.
In addition, the team from CPR Counts will be in Bishops Court to explain the importance of learning how to administer quality CPR, deal with someone having a cardiac arrest, heart attack or choking.
They will also demonstrate how to use a defibrillator.
Fun Run event director, Tracey Spare said: “We’re rapidly approaching the end of registration for this year’s Royal Sutton Fun Run.
“We’ve already exceeded the total number of registrations received last year and there’s still potentially a week remaining to register online.
However, if we reach the maximum number of entries, 5500 before 11 April, registration will close so it’s important to secure your place via the Fun Run web site or register in-person on Saturday in Gracechurch Centre.
“We’re delighted to have Fun Run supporting sponsor RotoSpa and the team from CPR Counts alongside us this Saturday.
“Visitors to Gracechurch Centre have a unique opportunity to win a week-long spa hire and discover the importance of how to administer CPR.
“A few hours of attending a course, could save the life of a family member, close friend, or work colleague.”
