As a dedicated noodle fanatic, it really was a pleasure to visit this lovely new noodle bar on Birmingham Road.
Recently opened sister to the successful Hot Woks in Walsall, it's great that the folks of Sutton Coldfield can experience the atmosphere of the oriental street food scene, with a warm and friendly welcome!
The menu choices are varied between Thai, Japanese and Chinese options (you can mix and match) and all the meat products (including halal options) are sourced from local businesses.
Simply choose your noodles, meat or veg option and then a delicious home made sauce to top it off. With a great selection of sides and beverages and even desserts, Hot Woks really can cater for most tastes.
We opted for and can recommend:
Wheat Noodles + Chicken +Malaysian Spice
Vermicelli Noodles + Chicken + Malay Laksa Curry
The chicken gyozas are crispy and coated with a delicious sprinkling of secret recipe spices.
You can of course eat in the cosy restaurant or take out. There are also meal deal options, but quite honestly the value for money speaks for itself as the portions are more than generous and very reasonable in price already!
If you can't finish it all, you can take the rest out!
The restaurant is open Monday - Saturday 12 Noon to 10pm, including Bank Holidays and closed on Sundays.
