Natalie is Pickford Solicitor’s latest trainee solicitor recruit. She joined the team on the 1st of May 2019. Natalie began her legal journey in 2008, when she began her graduate diploma in law. During this time, Natalie worked full time as a Health and Safety Officer for a leading energy and temperature control solutions provider. In 2010, Natalie completed her qualification, achieving a distinction.
Following on from this, Natalie’s career diversified as she was appointed as support to the project management and corporate team at a hotel management company. After only a short period, Natalia was promoted to senior manager. Her position in the company gave her a diverse background in managing health and safety, compliance, human resources, project management, estates management and also involved her working alongside the firm’s solicitors to investigate and complete the sale and purchase of hotels.
Natalie studied the LPC MSc whilst working at the hotel company. In particular, this qualification focussed on business management, which interested Natalie a lot. Natalie completed the LPC, achieving a distinction, in 2017.
Moving on from this, Natalie was appointed as Paralegal for a city centre law firm, where she was working in the commercial litigation department. For Natalie, this was a new and exciting role, allowing her the opportunity to work on high value debt claims etc. After this, Natalie took a short break from work, following the birth of her daughter. However, she is now excited to have started her training contract at Pickford Solicitors!
Natalie expressed that the team put her at complete ease when returning to work. She feels that Pickford Solicitors is unique to other solicitors due to their genuinely friendly, warm and positive atmosphere. Whilst all the colleagues are all qualified and experienced, they are all friendly and approachable people. Natalie believes this is why customers are drawn to Pickford Solicitors.
