A long-serving employee at Enoch Evans Solicitors, who joined the firm as an office assistant, is celebrating a promotion to the position of advanced paralegal.
Anna Weston’s journey with Enoch Evans began when she joined in 2018 as an office assistant before becoming a paralegal in the firm’s Court of Protection Department three years later.
Her areas of expertise include making Court of Protection applications to appoint a deputy to look after the affairs of someone who lacks mental capacity, as well as advising parents who have adults or young children with learning difficulties to help with their finances if the parent is unable to do on their own.
The advanced paralegal role brings with it increased responsibilities, including managing more cases, mentoring junior paralegals and collaborating closely with senior colleagues.
Anna said: “This is a really proud moment for me and I’m really grateful to be supported by the partners of Enoch Evans for giving me an opportunity to progress my career in law surrounded by a wonderful team.
“I look forward to continuing to grow within my field of expertise.”
