Students hailed for 'determination, commitment and hard work'

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP) schools are celebrating the “determination, commitment and hard work” of their students on A-level results day.

Year 13 students from ATLP’s Arthur Terry School, The Coleshill School, John Willmott School, Nether Stowe School, and West Coventry Academy, received their Key Stage 5 results today, covering a range of qualifications, including A-level, AS level, and level 3 Applied General Qualifications, such as BTECs and Tech level (T-level).

Deirdre Duignan, ATLP’s director of education (Secondary), said: “Many congratulations to our brilliant Year 13s. We are so proud of our students, and these results are testament to their determination, commitment, and hard work.

“Our students have demonstrated real maturity, resilience, and capability during some testing times, with unwavering support from our fantastic staff and families. We wish these remarkable young people a happy and successful future.”

ATLP CEO Richard Gill, CBE, said: “Today is a day of immense pride and celebration across schools, where we champion the incredible achievements of our Year 13s. Their resilience, dedication and perseverance is to be applauded, and we thank the staff and families for their contribution too.

“As these fantastic young people begin the next exciting chapter in their lives, we want them to remember that they will be part of the ATLP family forever.”

Arthur Terry School reported a string of outstanding performers when results were released yesterday.

Headteacher Samantha Kibble said: “We are incredibly proud of our students for achieving fantastic A-level, BTEC and RSL results!

“Our Year 13 students have demonstrated their ongoing commitment and resilience to their studies. Our students should be very pleased with their results and we wish them all the best in their next steps.”

Adam Ball, assistant headteacher at the school, part of the respected Arthur Terry Learning Partnership, added: “Our students have worked so hard throughout this year, showing exceptional commitment and dedication.

“I would like to especially highlight the outstanding achievement of Eve Beck for achieving A*, A*, Distinction *, Maya Benjamin and Will Lander for achieving A*, A*, A, Billy Yeomans for achieving A*, Distinction *, A, Annabelle Parnell-Lea, Samuel Harvey, James Nuttal and Rabia Saddiqah for achieving A*, A, A and Charlie Chadwick for achieving Distinction*, A, A.

“Special congratulations to Annabelle who has also secured a place at the University of Oxford to study English Language and Literature.

“We wish all of our departing students the very best for the future and eagerly anticipate hearing news of their future successes. We hope they will stay in touch and we look forward to the new academic year and supporting our students to reach their potential.”
