On Friday 22nd April, we will see the return of the Sutton Coldfield Accessible Community Games. Organised by the team behind the highly successful Sutton Coldfield Community Games, the Sutton Coldfield Accessible Community Games returns to the BMet College.
The Sutton Coldfield Accessible Games provides opportunities for people with physical, learning and sensory disabilities to be active and try different sports.
There will be over 25 different activities and sports for them to try including: climbing, boxing, dance, wheelchair basketball and tennis.
Dennis Kennedy is the founder of the Community Games and is the driving force behind the return of this event. He said: ‘After an unplanned absence we are genuinely thrilled to be staging the AG again. We are very much hoping that it will be as engaging and fun as our previous games.
We have 25 activity providers offering a variety of sporting opportunities for our visitors. It has been great working with Jason Allen from BMet College again this year. He has been incredibly supportive of the Accessible Games right from start. I can’t wait to see the event in full swing!’.
The event will be completely free to attend and there is ample car parking on the site. Anyone wishing to visit, volunteer or support with activities please contact dennis@suttongames.co.uk or visit www.community-games.uk.
