A warning has been issues to all visitors of Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham to spot feeding the wild animals in the park. The Exmoor ponies have lived in the park since 1999, but the public are putting them at risk everyday by feeding them, which risks them getting ill, with having the wrong diet.
The ponies have also been foraging in bins inside the park, eating bags of dog waste and getting too close to visitors, putting them at risk of being taken away from the park as they are becoming too ‘tame’.
One pony has thought to have been poorly recently, after being fed carrots and apples from the public.
