Video production firm Ark Media has been helping a variety of businesses to transition out of lockdown.

With restrictions set to ease over the coming weeks and months, Ark - led by Sutton Coldfield Chamber president Phil Arkinstall (pictured) - has been filming with a variety of organisations to help them and their staff teams transition.

Organisations such as IT company Little Fish, Hair and Beauty Wholesaler, Aston and Fincher and construction industry giant, Willmott Dixon are among clients who have already commissioned and released videos to staff to ensure their teams feel comfortable about being at or returning to work.

Mark Petty, sales and marketing director at Little Fish, said: "For us as a business it was seamless switching to remote working, but we wanted to ensure that our staff were informed and felt comfortable about returning to the office when appropriate.

"The videos we have produced ensure this is communicated in an engaging, informative and consistent manner. Our people truly are paramount to our success, so it’s really important we ensure our messaging is heard and resonates, and that we are communicating with the team in the best possible way."

In addition to helping organisations to transition back to a working environment, Ark has also helped businesses to pivot during lockdown to ensure survival.

Ordinarily, The Big Green Coach company transports festival goers to music festivals up and down the country but with lockdown in place and festivals cancelled their sales plummeted.

Instead, the company pivoted and starting transporting HS2 railway workers to their workplaces.

The company commissioned Ark to produce a video that helped them communicate to both employers and staff that the buses were safe, sanitised on a regular basis and were taking optimum precautions to ensure safety.

Phil Arkinstall, MD at Ark Media, said: "It’s been a really interesting time to firstly understand where our clients are at and to help them to not just survive the pandemic but to thrive.

"We find clients buy video for three main reasons - to sell more, reduce costs and to communicate internally and these three things have never been more so important than now."
