The Swiss cottage that has been closed for four years will reopen shortly in Swansea's Singleton Park.
The cottage which dates back to 1826 is due to reopen shortly.
It was badly damaged by fire in 2010 and has been closed for renovation ever since.
The works have taken so long as the property is listed and as such all works need to be approved by CADW - the Welsh historic building preservation society.
The intention is that the City Council will now open the property to the public - it was previously used as a council store.
This will be another great attraction in the very popular Singleton Park.
