The City Council have given details of their measures to save £45 million.
These include the 700 jobs that are predicted to go.
School meal costs are likely to increase and there is the possibility that three care homes will close.
The savings which include a whopping £25 million over the coming year need to be made to reduce the Council's deficit and attempt to balance the books.
These are worrying times especially when we need to see further investment to attract new businesses and visitors to this great city.
