Rhossili beach has been named in a survey of travel writers asked to nominate their top 10 of Britains beaches.
Whilst it did not make the number one spot - some place in Norfolk! (what do they know?) -
it was voted number two.
With three miles of glorious sands and surrounded by the most spectacular scenery it is no wonder that it is regularly used as a backdrop for film and TV.
These have included featuring in Torchwood and Doctor Who.
Also of course it was also the location for a choir performing as part of the 2012 Olympic opening ceremony.
Well done and fully deserved (well actually it deserved no1 spot).
