The Swansea Bay City of Culture Bid for 2017 is nearing a conclusion.
The announcement of the winning bid will be made public tomorrow.
Swansea Bay is seen as a favourite coming up against among others Leicester and Dundee.
The bid is backed by some high profile people including writer Russell T Davies and actor Michael Sheen.
Swansea City Council estimate that the economic benefits that will potentiallly accrue to the city could exceed £70m.
