Invitations have gone out to high profile fans of Dylan Thomas including some ex US presidents.
Jimmy Carter who gained the freedom of the City of Swansea in 1995 and is a reader of Dylan Thomas work has been invited in this the writer's centenary year.
In addition Bill Clinton who is also a fan of the writer who lived part of his life in New York has been invited to Swansea in this year of celebration.
Dylan Thomas influence and popularity extends right round the globe and it is anticipated that many international visitors will make the journey to Swansea in 2014.
