Severe pressures at Morriston A & E unit have resulted in a stay away message.
The A & E department are apparently flat out and as a result have appealed that only major emergencies turn up at their door.
With a big rise in older and infirm patients admitted through the department resources are severely stretched.
Administrators have appealed for non emergency cases to use the Minor Injury Unit at Neath Port Talbot and Singleton hospitals.
