A Swansea headteacher has spoken out on behalf of her colleagues asking for less interference and more support in teaching classes.
Ruth Davies a Swansea headteacher has implored the Welsh Assembly Government to focus more on supporting teachers do what they are paid to do and less time on reviews analysis and form filling.
Whilst she acknowledges the need to monitor results and taking opportunities to improve standards she feels that there is too much time spent on the bureaucracy of learning and not enough focus on the practicalities of the classroom.
If this initiative starts to see more support on building a stronger and more capable student in Wales then I agree wholeheartedly.
