The Dunkirk spirit is alive and well and on show at a Swansea beach.
Complaints have been made by users of a Swansea blue flag beach.
The recent severe weather and heavy storms bringing crashing waves onto the Gower beaches has exposed lengths of fencing and wire netting.
Whilst not necessarily a danger to the public they are not an attractive feature especially at the start of the holiday season.
The local authority are on the case. Swansea council have mobilised a team to coordinate the clearance using a JCB for the heavy work.
The job will be completed restoring the beauty spot to it's former glory.
