I've just seen this ( though many of you may have been there before me!) a newsletter detailing the work that is ongoing to keep the Gower such a wonderfully diverse place.
A holiday destination for so may.A sporting paradise.A tranquil haven for such a range of wildlife. and so much more.
If you haven't seen the newsletter i'd urge you to get hold of it.Especially if you care about such a fabulous natural resource on your doorstep.
There is information on the various ongoing projects linked to conservation.
Ther's an article about Coeden Fach tree nursery. They are all about promoting responsible and sustainable management of woods and forests.
You will also see a great article about volunteering and also a piece about seeing the growth of tourism side by side with the important conservancy work.
Finally there's some wonderful ideas for walk's taking in the dramatic coastline as well as some of the quieter but noneless beautiful countryside. Fantastic!
If you would like to be a volunteer speak to Huw Lloyd 07917200209 or Helen Grey 01792 636893
