Swansea libraries mark World Book Day.
A SERIES of events has been arranged for the week to mark World Book Day in Swansea's libraries.
Rhymetime sessions have been organised for community libraries at Killay, Pontarddulais, Newton, Gorseinon, Clydach, Oystermouth, Gowerton, Pennard and Townhill.
Events have also been marked in for Central Library at the Civic Centre.
Storytelling, puppet making and Teddy Bear picnics for under 5s are being held at some of the libraries as part of the rhymetime activities.
World Book Day is taking place on Thursday (March 5) and has been designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books.
The scheme is marked in over 100 countries and looks to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own.
