Work on Swansea boulevard is now giving residents sleepless nights.
The £8m project that is intended to transform the eastern approach to the city centre has again run into controversy.
Whilst recently motorists have experienced huge delays negotiating the roadworks at the bottom of Wind Street and Princess Way the works are now being progresses during the night.
This is limiting the impact on drivers and commuter traffic but is now keeping residents awake with the construction noise.
The works are planned to be completed by the Autumn but the council claim that night work has now ended.
The end result will be attractive and an asset to Swansea but residents will not be looking forward to another six months of disruption and delay especially when the Summer rush begins.
