Swansea University researchers helping to understand the sloths of Costa Rica.
These comical looking animals who spend a lot of time hanging upside down chewing a leaf have puzzled scientists for a long time.
Researchers working with the Sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica have been trying to establish how these animals can continue to function whilst remaining upside down for such long periods.
Apparently they can spend a week chewing and digesting a leaf.
Bit like super model behaviour!
Rebecca Cliffe a researcher from Swansea has the lucky job of spending her time with these fascinating creatures - not the super models!
