A proposal has been put forward to make Swansea city centre lorry free.
The idea which has been implemented in Bristol seems to work well.
Lorries deliver to a fixed point on the outskirts of the city from where small vans will collect the delivery for the very final leg of the journey.
Cyclists organisations have welcomed the idea as there have been a series of injuries involving large articulated lorries - sometimes driven by operators not familiar with the city centre.
If it's safer and it works then it's got to be worth a try - if only to ease the awful city centre congestion that seems to be neverending in Swansea.
