A recent Welsh Water survey has discovered that some households in Swansea have faulty plumbing.
Apparently 300 houses in the Sketty area of Swansea have been identified as having pipework connected up wrongly.
As a result some waste water is not going into the sewerage system.
Whilst a lot of the houses concerned have been identified and had their plumbing rectified many still need to be addressed.
The city council are totally committed to seeing all problems such as these sorted out especially as the new and stringent bathing water standards come into play in 2015.
