Swansea Bay City Region had a major boost with a meeting of key stakeholders today.
These included Council members, major employers,University representatives and tourism bosses who all met today to discuss how to build Swansea Bay into a major city region.
One of the key measures that has to improve is the productivity levels which lag the rest of the UK at only 77%.
To see this and other indicators improve there is a recognition that a more entrepreneurial culture has to prevail in future.
We have great businesses in Swansea but we need more to set up here and develop the resources that we have on offer.
