The latest reports show that eight Swansea beaches get the the Blue flag and swimmers get the green light.
The majority of Swansea and Gower beaches meet the required standard for water quality.
The latest review of Welsh beaches saw more than ever getting to the standard to meet safe bathing requirements.
The increase has been attributed to the drought last year that saw a lot of rivers and water courses dry up and see less agricultural run off making it to the sea.
