A natural solution to the Swansea Knotweed problem may be the answer.
It seems that there is actually a bug that likes to feast on Japanese Knotweed.
This plant is extremely invasive and is taking hold all over the city.
Once it becomes established it is virtually impossible to eradicate.
However trials using a natural predator seem to have met with success.
The insect has also managed to survive Swansea weather!
Before we get too excited the trials are at a very early stage but results are encouraging.
The huge benefit is that this is a natural solution not involving tons of very nasty chemicals.
Sounds great lets hope it works.
