Swansea City Council have revealed that they are on track to complete their 2014 road improvement programme.
They identified 28 incidents of resurfacing work and these have all been scheduled for completion. This has seen 50000 metres of resurfacing work completed at a cost of approx £500000.
In addition they say that their PATCH programme that is aimed at identifying all road surface issues in a particular community and then dealing with them is also on track.
The budget for this work was another £750000.
A lot of this work is well overdue but once completed will make travelling around Swansea a much better experience.
