Acacia House a Swansea respite home faces closure as the City Council look to make spending cuts.
The home in West Cross provides respite care for parents and has always enjoyed strong local support.
The City Council claim that changes to support and care mean that the services provided by the home are not now in demand.
This is disputed by the parents of users of the facility.
The council have pointed out that there are alternatives both with family placement care as well as their other care home at Alexandra Road.
