We are always so used to the Gower described as a perfect getaway place.... but it's not always the case.
Over the last weekend the rescue services were mobilised twice to help people who got into trouble during unpredictable weather.
The coastguard service were alerted to two surfers who got into difficulty at Rhossili.
One managed to scramble to safety but the other got stuck on rocks and was rescued by the the North Devon helicopter.
In a separate incident two walkers became trapped on a stretch of the coastal path that had eroded in the recent bad weather.
They also were rescued by the helicopter services.
We are lucky that we have a vigilant rescue service in Swansea and the Gower who ensure the wellbeing of visitors.
Fantastic work.
