Swansea University have raised concerns over the plans for the Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon.
The Lagoon is now at the consultation stage but the University are uncertain as to the likely impact of the proposed structure on their environment.
in addition they have raised a query of what will happen to the lagoon after the expiry of the lease in 125 years time.
Given that they presently will be looking at the Port Talbot steelworks complex the envionment is unlikely to be made worse.
And I suppose that what happens after the lease expires will not impact on many people alive today.
I think that the project will be a real asset to Swansea and is the sort of forward thinking that we need more of.
