Swansea University's new campus on Fabian Way will create 12000 jobs.
The construction work and then the staffing of a site that will boast research and teaching facilities as well as all the support services is predicted to create up to 12000 jobs.
The site which will be Swansea University's second campus will also accomodate 900 students.
There will be a full complement of shops,restaurants and bars on the campus for the resident population.
It is predicted that the University development will contribute £3billion to the local economy.
