The propsed Tidal Bay Lagoon has received some serious backing with the appointment of directors and advisers of some large local businesses.
The project which is all about generating a sustainable electricity supply from natural resources is a potential investment of some £750m.
By utilising local companies and involving them at an early stage it is hoped that the objective of a minimum 50% Welsh content in terms of materials,labour and expertise can be achieved.
This will be a fantastic boost to the Welsh economy and to Swansea in particular.
