With the arrival of Spring and Summer though there are jobs other than clearing away snow and repairing burst pipes that we must think about and the family car is one in particular. The potholes that seem to have infested our roads are causing all sorts of damage to wheels and the effects of winter road gritting is making the body work look sad. Plus there are the unlucky few of us ( me included ) whose braking attempts on the ice have resulted in minor damage to the bodywork.

I am not a great enthusiast when it comes to washing cars but Sunday was a lovely day and I decided to give the car a Spring wash and brush up.
