Congratulations to Dave Roper and Emma D'alton who were the fastest man and women in the Swindon Half Marathon 2010. Over 1500 runners ran the 13.1 mile course in and around Swindon, many in fancy dress! I particularly liked the 'Romans' (Les Slinn's Team) and 'Batwoman' who were all running for the M.S. Society. Swindon's very own celebrity Record Breaking endurance runner, Mike Buss also took part carrying a 40lb rucksack to raise money for the Help the Heroes Charity. The Big Adventure Store, who specialise in all things 'Triathalon' had several excellent runners taking part. So to sum up, well done and a massive thankyou to everyone who took part in the 2010 Swindon Half Marathon I throughly enjoyed watching you!
