West Country Butchers on Fore St in Chard sells the most amazing meat and is worth travelling to Chard just for the butcher! Their local suppliers are displayed on a blackboard so you can see the meat hasn't travelled far. The staff are friendly and helpful and the business is a credit to the town. My favourite meat is beef and their's is 5-star - worth a special mention is their steak mince which stands out from the competition and is reasonably priced.

Very good Butchers Nice range of meats and other goods. Cheerful staff always helpful. Very good price's, local shop open 6 days a week . Helps make Chard the town that it is.
