A very proud day for EuromanandVan in Normandy at The Winston Churchill Memorial
Paul Thompson is delighted to tell us that he was tasked with delivering and installing some very precious artwork at the Winston Churchill Memorial in Val sur Mer, Normandy which will be unveiled on 6th June 2024 as part of the 80th Anniversary of the D Day Landings by President Emmanuel Macron and His Majesty King Charles III.
After arriving with the artwork safely, and installing it, Paul was delighted to meet Nicholas Witchell, who is out there to cover the unveiling for the news. Paul told us that it was an honour and a privilege to be asked to undertake such a job.
He took a celebratory photo or two, to record the moment and we don’t blame him! Well done Paul of EuromanandVan, for helping to remind us of this seminal moment of World War II, and to bring it to a new generation once again by this new and wonderful Memorial on this, the 80th Anniversary of the D Day Landings.
