The UK Championships will be on Saturday, May 2, 2020, from 10am to 5.30pm.
Mr Clarke said: “It is great to be bringing the competition back to Chard again.
“We are looking to build upon the success of 2018 and 2019. We are currently have around 25 athletes taking part.
“You’ll be amazed by the athletes on show as they power themselves through five events. These are the dead lift, the front hold, Apollon’s axle, the loading race, and the stone medley.”
As well as being event organiser, Mr Clarke also takes part in the competition as a strongman with cerebral palsy.
He added: “It also feels great to have my friend, and founder of the World Disabled Strongman contest, Arnar Mar Jonsson back as our head referee.
“There will also be a special guest – but that will remain a mystery.
“A massive thank you to all that have sponsored the event, and those who continue to sponsor this great competition.
“I am so proud of all the athletes. They continue to push the boundaries every year and it is an honour to compete alongside everyone.
“This unique event has been a sell-out for the last two years. The crowd loved it and so do not miss out on your chance to see these unique athletes perform to their best.”
