Children’s Mental Health Week 2020 will focus on taking steps to help them to be healthy inside and out! Mental Health is not a visible condition, but it affects many young people in their formative years.
Place2Be is a charity dedicated to children’s mental health, they have well over 25 years of experience of working with pupils, families and staff in UK schools through one-to-one counselling employing tried and tested methods that are research based. They also provide training and professional qualifications.
Place2Be launched the first ever Children’s Mental Health Week back in 2015 to spotlight the importance of children and young peoples mental health. In 2020 they are keen to urge more people to get involved.
How can you help?
Schools, youth groups, business and all individuals who would like to get involved are invited to get involved. By combining everyone’s efforts we all have the potential to reach out to thousands more children, young people, and their families and loved ones.
Urge your local schools to join in.

Organise a fundraising effort such as ‘show and tell’, run a cake stall (yum!), or an ‘own uniform’ day, there more the merrier and the more money raised for this outstanding charity the better!
Businesses also are encouraged get involved through creative fundraising, with individual efforts by staff members donating or combined efforts to ‘run a fundraiser’, all donations are welcome.
